Desilo se i to. Ne samo da sam gledao pla\u010dipi\u010dkastu melodramu na televiziji, nego sam i uhva\u0107en in flagranti<\/em>… Radio sam od rane zore do skoro predve\u010de, smu\u010dilo mi se i nije mi bilo ni do \u010dega. Napolju je bilo toliko sparno da sam se setio ponekog citata iz “Sto godina samo\u0107e”, nisam mogao u \u0161etnju po takvom vremenu. \u0160ta mi je drugo preostalo nego da odvrnem klima-ure\u0111aj na najja\u010de hla\u0111enje i da se nadam da \u0107u brzo zadremati gledaju\u0107i neki isprazni film na TV.<\/p>\n

Problem je u tome \u0161to sam ponekad toliko umoran da ne mogu da zaspim. I onda se desilo: taman sam upao u fabulu za pet minuta iako je film po\u010deo sat vremena ranije (ne treba biti naro\u010dito pametan, pa popuniti praznine jednako trivijalnim asocijacijama), kad je u jednoj sceni nekakav dvorski orkestar zasvirao poznatu melodiju, izvesno sa namerom da primeni reverznu psihologiju za drugi razred osnovne \u0161kole (prvo polugodi\u0161te) na junake pri\u010de. Daljinski upravlja\u010d je le\u017eao na stolu: tako blizu, a tako daleko. Upravo sam sakupljao snagu i koncentraciju da ga dohvatim i nadao sam se da \u0107e mi u slede\u0107ih nekoliko minuta to i uspeti, kad je u sobu u\u0161la Jasna.<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/p>\n\u2013 Aha! Uhvatila sam te! \u2013 Uhvatila si me \u2013 rekoh umorno, znaju\u0107i na \u0161ta misli. Uhvatila me je. \u2013 Gleda\u0161 rom-kom! \u2013 Gledam… \u0161ta? \u2013 Rom-kom! Romanti\u010dnu komediju!<\/p>\nO, bo\u017ee… Odmah sam se setio Borivoja Jurkovi\u0107a, prvog urednika \u010dasopisa “Sirius”, koji je termin “znanstvena fantastika” skratio u “znan-fan”. Ta misao me je, sre\u0107om, skrenula sa gledanja tog filma, ali je bilo jasno, na\u017ealost, da je sa mojim odmaranjem zavr\u0161eno, a taman sam se utaba\u010dio.<\/p>\nNije bilo druge: ustao sam i potra\u017eio CD u pra\u0161njavoj gomili (eto meni posla za sutra, pomislio sam) pomalo zaboravljenih naslova. Taj “bugarski rezanac” be\u0161e prvi nosa\u010d zvuka jednog od najva\u017enijih trubadura 20. veka u mojoj fonoteci; a taj album be\u0161e prvenac u njegovoj dugoj i \u010destitoj karijeri koja jo\u0161 uvek traje. Znao sam da \u0107u ga preslu\u0161ati celog, jer ne pote\u017ee se takav album samo zbog jedne pesme, ali morao sam prvo da isperem u\u0161i od one blasfemije.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"Tom Waits \u2013 Closing Time (1973). Sviraju\u0107i za si\u0107u u \u010duvenom klubu Troubadour<\/em> u zapadnom Holivudu, Waits se nije mogao nadati ni\u010demu vi\u0161e od toga nego da \u0107e se jednom pojaviti neko kome \u0107e mo\u0107i da proda svoje pesme. Onda se jedne ve\u010deri pojavio David Geffen i ponudio Waitsu punokrvni ugovor za snimanje. Kad se pojavio, album jeste primio pohvale kritike, ali nije privukao \u0161iroku pa\u017enju publike. Taj proboj se desio tek tri godine kasnije, sa \u010detvrtim albumom Small Change<\/em> (1976). To je na\u010din da odagnam umor od sebe, a ne da gledam rom-kom, sra-gra ili kako se ve\u0107 zovu te melodramati\u010dne trakavice u dana\u0161njem \u017eargonu. Ajde-de, presko\u010dio sam stimulans iz hrastovog bureta, a i duvan sam ostavio, ovih dana bi\u0107e decenija, pa nedostaje ba\u0161 puna ikonografija. Ali, nema veze. Ono glavno je bilo ba\u0161 tu gde treba i slede\u0107ih 45 minuta slu\u0161anja Toma Waitsa me je oporavilo bolje od dva sata dremanja.<\/p>\nA o rom-kom sadr\u017eajima vi\u0161e ne bih. Pogotovo o onim filmad\u017eijama koji trivijalizuju muziku koja sa njima i njihovim ispraznim filmovima nikakve veze nema, daleko im lepa ku\u0107a… Da ne ka\u017eem
