Kovanica outlaw country<\/em> odnosi se na muzi\u010dare koji su se jo\u0161 od \u0161ezdesetih godina borili proziv ki\u010derajskog zvuka koji je dolazio iz Nashvillea. Iako je bilo gadno, naporno i neizvesno, uspeli su u svom naumu. Danas Willieja Nelsona, Krisa Kristoffersona, Johnnyja Casha i Wylona Jeninnigsa uva\u017eava i rock publika kao klju\u010dne ljude koji su reformisali country, a tu negde, u njihovom dru\u0161tvu po zna\u010daju, se nalazi i Merle Haggard<\/a>, mada se o njemu u medijima najmanje govori.<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/p>\nDodu\u0161e, njegova \u017eivotna pri\u010da se bitno razlikuje od pri\u010da pomenutih.<\/p>\n<\/p>\nHaggard je, za razliku od pomenutih, bio pravi odmetnik u svakom smislu. Njegovi biografi se sla\u017eu da je bio problemati\u010dan kao osoba: jednom od svojih uzora <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Buck_Owens\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bucku Owensu<\/a> je preoteo \u017eenu, robijao je u San Quentinu zbog plja\u010dke… No, iza maske “zlo\u010destog momka” koji izaziva nevolje krila se jako osetljiva osoba koja kroz svoje pesme govori uglavnom o siroma\u0161tvu, opijanju, borbi sa zakonom i neprestanom lutanju u potrazi za smislom i boljim \u017eivotom.<\/p>\nU politi\u010dkom smislu, Haggard je bio okoreli desni\u010dar, \u0161to me je prili\u010dno iznenadilo. Kroz usta naratora on se zala\u017ee za njihovo ignorisanje i zadr\u017eavanje tradicionalnih \u017eivotnih vrednosti, \u0161to se savr\u0161eno uklapa u mentalitet ljudi u nekoj ameri\u010dkoj nedo\u0111iji (Muskogee je gradi\u0107 u Oklahomi). No, kako pesma odmi\u010de, on se, \u010dini mi se, poistove\u0107uje sa naratorom \u2013 verujem da je u pitanju bila njegova nesposobnost da u tom trenutku prihvati brze i radikalne promene koje su se de\u0161avale u ameri\u010dkom dru\u0161tvu.<\/p>\nHaggard nas je napustio 2016. godine. Ma koliko da je bio konzervativan i kontradiktoran, istovremeno je bio i mudar i dobar, sude\u0107i po stihovima u kojima su se me\u0161ale razli\u010dite emocije.
